Just finished Christmas table runner

Posted by sewindulge on December 14, 2009 at 7:22 AM

I have a huge "To Do" list for Christmas, as I am sure you do as well!  Just finished one on the list.  A Christmas table runner.  I purchased a long flat 3 section serving dish and then  coordinated the colors with this table runner.  I just realized that my camera does not show the colors as well as I'd like.  The green is a pretty apple green.  Oh well.  Here it is.

Butterfly Quilt for Saige

Posted by sewindulge on November 25, 2009 at 9:26 AM

A new Butterfly quilt to welcome my newest granddaughter Saige Marie!  Her mother requested butterflies in purple and Sage with soft dessert tones.  I embroidered the butterflies in random squares and used a floral with small flowers.  What do you think?  I hope she loves it!

Princess Nightgown

Posted by sewindulge on September 21, 2009 at 7:56 AM

What an exhausting, fun filled past few days!  Daughter was here for a wedding with two of my grand babies.  Kate is almost 4 and what a precious little girl she is.  She loves pink and puppies and princesses.  She requested new jammies, as the ones I made her were getting too little!  We took a trip to the fabric store and picked out a "night time gown" and silky flannel back princess fabric.  It had some of the Disney Princesses, Cinderella, Belle, Aurora and Snow White.  She spent the entire time with me as I cut, sewed and ironed her new gown.  Now for the best part... one of the reasons I sew...... look at that smile!

Bluebird Berry Ice Purse

Posted by sewindulge on August 23, 2009 at 6:46 PM

Just finished this cute purse using the new flavor "Bluebird Berry Ice".  I loved the look of the fabric, just had to try to create something fun and easy.  I added a bit of sparkle to the corners.  You can see more pictures of projects under the Photo Gallery.  Feel free to share your creations as well!
